In a year, there’re four different seasons. They’re spring, summer, autumn and winter. I like summer best because I can enjoy a long holiday in it. And I can go traveling with my family. But it’s very hot. Most of the time, I can just stay at home. Now let’s see something about the seasons.

    Spring is warm and it’s a very beautiful season. You can see that the trees turn green and the flowers get pretty. Everything wakes up at that time. The birds fly back to the south. Under the tree, you can listen to the birds’ songs. The winds blow slowly. The rain in Wuxi is soft. Spring is like a lovely girl, she colors the world and always sings and dances. Spring is green.

    In my opinion, summer in Wuxi is so hot. But it’s often sunny. We can have the summer holiday in July and August. When we go outside, we need to take our umbrellas with us. The sun is like a big fireball. In the holiday, we usually have some ice creams and many fruits. People like to go to beaches. They like swimming in the sea. Sometimes it rains hard. I don’t like that time. Summer is blue.

    Autumn is from September to November. It’s really a nice season! The farmers are very happy. Because it is the harvest season. On the farm, we can see that lots of farmers are busy. Someone picks fruits. It’s so funny. The sky is pure blue. I like the bright sunshine. The weather in autumn is cool and windy. It gets colder. Wow, the leaves are yellow, orange or bright red! What a colorful season! Autumn is golden.

    When the people talk about winter, you must say ‘How cold!’ Yes. People must wear more warm clothes. It often snows in China. Many animals will sleep for a long time till the spring comes. Outside the window, we can see the snow flies beautifully. It’s like lots of white butterflies. The world is pure white. The children can make snowmen. It’s interesting. Somebody likes having snowball fights. I think skiing and skating are wonderful, too. Winter is white.
