12月10日下午,雙語小學部秋季UOI第二期成果展示如期舉行。在本期UOI探究活動中,全體師生一起圍繞主題,深入探究,不斷創(chuàng)新。從確定選題到活動開展,各班積極思考,理清探究路線,明確探究目標,豐富探究形式,及時反思改進,力求探究活動的完整性與有效性。探究課堂上,每一個孩子都參與到活動中來,他們勤于思考,敢想敢做,勇敢提出問題和獨到的見解,把奇思妙想付諸實踐。
On the afternoon of December 10th, the second phase of UOI achievement exhibition of bilingual primary school was held as scheduled.In this period of UOI inquiry activity, all teachers and students work together around the theme to make in-depth exploration and continuous innovation.From the selection of the topic to the implementation of the activity, each class actively thinks, clarifies the exploration route, specifies the exploration goal, enriches the exploration form, reflects on the improvement in time, and strives to explore the integrity and effectiveness of the activity.In the exploration class, every child participates in the activity, they are diligent in thinking, dare to think and do, bravely put forward the question and original opinion, put the wonderful idea into practice.
一年級的探究主題是“聲和光”,同學們從生活實際出發(fā),探究聲和光的來源及屬性,通過實地走訪體驗、制作皮影戲和排簫等方式了解聲和光以多種形式影響我們的生活。
The exploration theme of the first grade is "sound and light". Students start from the reality of life, explore the sources and properties of sound and light, and learn that sound and light affect our lives in various forms through field visits and experience, production of shadow play and panpipes.

二年級的探究主題是“地球自然地貌對人類定居的影響”,學生通過繪制地形圖、制作黏土模型、數(shù)據(jù)比較等,認識到了各種各樣不同的地形,體會到地球自然地貌決定了人類定居和活動,同時也明白了人類活動對自然環(huán)境有影響。
The theme of the second year is "the impact of earth's physical geography on human settlements".By drawing topographic maps, making clay models, and comparing data, students learn about a variety of different landforms, realize that the earth's natural landform determines human settlement and activities, and understand that human activities have an effect on the natural environment.

四年級的探究主題是“社會性企業(yè)”。在本次單元探究中,我們首先了解了什么是社會性企業(yè),社會性企業(yè)的組成元素。然后參觀無錫養(yǎng)樂多工廠,進一步實地探究學習,體會到了社會性企業(yè)的內(nèi)涵,體會到了社會責任感。開展“Market day” 活動,體會供需關系和市場調(diào)節(jié)的內(nèi)在聯(lián)系。
The fourth year's research topic is "social enterprise".In this unit exploration, they understood what was a social enterprise and the components of a social enterprise first.Then they visited Yacult factory in Wuxi to further explore. 五年級的探究主題是"我們?nèi)绾谓M織自己"。學生通過活動理解商品、貨幣等經(jīng)濟學名詞;了解經(jīng)濟活動的基本過程;理解供求關系影響價格波動;了解基本的分配制度;了解并承擔我們作為消費者的責任。
The topic of inquiry in the fifth grade is "how we organize ourselves".Students understand commodity, currency and other economic terms through activities;understand the basic process of economic activities;Understand that supply and demand affect price fluctuations;Understand the basic distribution system;understand and accept our responsibilities as consumers.
